Deer Stalking Availability at Kilchoan Estate, Knoydart.

Join us at Kilchoan Estate this season – where time slows down, where wildlife and landscape are inseparable from our life, and where guests feel as welcome as they are in their best friends’ homes.
 

Kilchoan Estate comprises over 13,500 acres which lies within the beautiful and remote Knoydart Peninsula, Lochaber. Often referred to as ‘the rough bounds’ or ‘the last wilderness’, we are only accessible by boat from the nearby fishing port of Mallaig or an 18-mile walk over the hills.

We have four weeks remaining for the 24/25 season
  • 31st August – 7th September: 5 red stags
  • 7th – 14th September: 5 red stags
  • 12th – 19th October: 5 red stags
  • 26th Oct – 2nd November: 8 hinds & calves
Our weekly packages run Saturday to Saturday and include five days on the hill supported by your own experienced head stalker, under stalker and ghillie. A boat day is included when weather permits, allowing you to explore stalking opportunities in even more remote and wild areas of the peninsula.
 
During your stay, accommodation is provided at Kilchoan Farmhouse for up to seven guests. Recently refurbished to a luxury standard, it offers the feel of both a traditional Highland country home with a modern twist. A welcome hamper, breakfast supplies & local treats are included, and we can assist in arranging catering if required.
