JAHAMA Highland Estates invites hunting guests who seek a deep connection with the natural world. We offer an extraordinary, immersive experience within the most challenging terrain in the UK, taking a sustainable harvest of wild deer, game and fish species.
Our main offering for guests is accompanied stalking for red, sika and occasional roe deer. We also have walked-up grouse shooting, duck flighting, rough shooting and occasional ptarmigan available by request on a first-come, first-served basis. Brown trout fishing is also available by request.
JAHAMA Highland Estates includes the toughest terrain in the UK, including the awe-inspiring north face of the UK’s highest mountain, Ben Nevis. Ours is an inspiring and demanding environment, offering guests the chance to make memories that will last a lifetime.
Feedback over many years has established that ours is the finest deer stalking ground in Great Britain and, as with so much worth striving for, the more you put in, the more you get out. At JAHAMA Highland Estates we ask guests to fully immerse themselves in all aspects of the hunt, as there is a lot more to a hunting experience than simply following our highly-competent staff up the hill. We are also keen for guests to ‘eat what you shoot’, and in the same vein we offer a number of discounted outings to local people every year as part of our strategy commitment to reconnect people with place. Our venison is available for sale in the form of accessible products at affordable prices, at our pop-up shop in Fort William: Fiadh á Fireach (A Deer from the Hill).

Our main sporting accommodation is Sherramore Lodge near Laggan. Sleeping a maximum of 15 people in nine bedrooms with shared bathrooms, this homely property is ideal for gatherings of people who love the great outdoors. Guests are welcome to arrange their own chef, with chef accommodation situated on the top floor of the Lodge.
We currently have two other properties, with more to be added in due course as we progress with Estate renovations and new builds.
Sherrabeg Cottage is located near Laggan. A two-storey former farmhouse sleeping eight people in four bedrooms, the property has been fully renovated and is graded as 4 Star by VisitScotland.
Stalker’s Cottage is located near Spean Bridge. A traditional one-and-a-half-storey cottage, this property sits within our busy Estate yard and is semi-detached with one of our staff properties. It sleeps five plus one in three bedrooms, and has been recently refurbished as a sustainable holiday let.
All properties are dog-friendly by prior agreement.
