Situated in a beautiful glen at the heart of Royal Deeside and within the spectacular Cairngorms National Park, Glen Tanar Estate offers some of Scotland’s most stunning scenery, spread across 25,000 acres of heather-clad moors & Caledonian Pine Forests.
Glen Tanar supports a thriving population of red and roe deer. In order to keep the herds healthy and the number of deer in balance with their habitat we manage these populations. We can offer individual stalking days or we can take small groups out.
Walked up and driven Red Grouse shoots are held when possible. We also have a number of beats on the famous River Dee available for booking rods for salmon and sea trout fishing. Escape the everyday with a stay in one of our nine luxury self-catering holiday cottages. Take your time exploring all that the area has to offer or simply enjoy doing nothing in this beautiful part of Scotland. Please visit www.glentanar.co.uk or contact us for more information.
