The setting on the Tweed is stunning and the hotel is beautiful. As a sporting hotel, we couldn't fault it. Spacious drying room, gun room and knowledgable staff.. The packed lunch for the day on the moor was enough to feed an army and perfect for our day, we had more than enough to feed us and our guides!! Nothing was too much trouble and with a short section of the Tweed to fish, what could be better!
Reid , September
We have been visiting Dryburgh Abbey Hotel now for over 10 years. It is a pleasure to see how things have just got better and better over time. We visit every August with a shooting and fishing party of friends and have a great time. The Hotel could not do more than they do now to accommodate us. We can be 30 people some nights for dinner and they always deliver as promised.
Macleod Party , August
The kitchen made us a full packed lunch to take fishing and the Hotel were kind enough to arrange the smoking of our fishing success. We will return next year without hesitation and likely each year thereafter.
Thomson Party , May
We stayed at the Hotel for a 4 Day Shooting Break and had a really good time. The staff were friendly and helpful and the sport organised by the Hotel significantly exceeded our expectations.
Davis Party, August
We have been here with 11 people for 1 week. We've been well served and the staff of the hotel were very friendly. The owner (John Wallace) gave us a nice welcome. He gave us good sporting advice, good food, and PERFECT for starting your hunting-trip!
Antonio Party , November
The committee wishes to express their heartfelt thanks for the excellent accommodation provided when we all invaded and took over the whole hotel.
Please pass on all of our gratitude and thanks to all of your staff for their courteous and helpful manner that made our stay even more memorable.
We have visited quite a few hotels whilst taking the Championship around to many venues, but cannot recall such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere; it is a credit to you all.
