Your perfect introduction to Scotch Whisky… Explore! Nose! Taste!

The A. D. Rattray’s Whisky Experience & Whisky Shop is a 5-star visitor attraction where you can experience everything about our national drink brought to life by knowledgeable and friendly staff.

AD Rattray Premises

Explore interactive displays, see inside a working Sample Room and visit our Cask Room, an example of a traditional ‘under bond’ whisky warehouse. Here you will find two casks, from which you can fill your own bottle of whisky, have it sealed in wax and add a personalised label – a special gift or souvenir of your visit.

Our Tasting Room is the perfect setting to relax and sample Scotland’s finest whiskies. Whisky tastings start from £20pp and can be booked for individuals and groups of up to 20 people. You can sample a stunning range of single malts around a beautiful antique table and learn more about whisky production, cask selection and maturation.

AD Rattray Tasting

The A. D. Rattray Whisky Shop offers a diverse range of whiskies for all tastes and budgets. You will find well-known brands and the lesser-known gems of individual cask bottlings. Our own brands, Cask Islay, Stronachie, Bank Note and our ever-popular House Malt are available to taste and offer exceptional value for money. We also have a selection of world whiskies and other spirits including rums and specialist gins.

Whether you are a complete novice, still learning or a connoisseur, we are confident you will find your visit fun and interesting.
