Shotguns: If you’re travelling north for the grouse season for example, shotguns can be carried by special arrangement as long as you have the necessary licence and comply with the licence requirements for transporting shotguns. You must have a single-berth cabin or be sharing with someone known to you. Your firearm certificate must be shown on boarding. To make arrangements call the Caledonian Sleeper Guest Services Centre on 0330 060 0500 at least 48 hours in advance, lines open as above. Ammunition is not permitted on board.
