Scottish Country Sports Tourism Group: Project Coordinator
Salary circa £28,000 (FTE) (plus healthcare package and pension)
The Scottish Country Sports Tourism Group was formed in 2003 as a collaboration of organisations working on behalf of land managers, fisheries managers, shooting and deer stalking interests and the public sector. The purpose of the Group is to develop the full potential of country sports tourism through co-operation focusing on the experience of our visitors and raising awareness of Scotland as a world class destination. SCSTG has been running for over 10 years.
The Project Coordinator will develop and deliver the Group’s action plan in conjunction with the Board, encourage and facilitate networking between relevant tourism and country sports businesses, maintain and develop the SCSTG web portal (www.countrysportscotland.com) and prepare and deliver a Group marketing plan.
The successful candidate will be able to clearly demonstrate:
A good organisational ability and effective project management
Good communication and presentation skills
An ability to manage relationships with partners/customers
Good marketing skills
Familiarity with the management of web sites and social networking
Knowledge of and some experience in countrysports and the rural sector in Scotland
This is a part time role (minimum of 24 hours per week) but consideration will be given to those seeking full-time employment. SCSTG is based at BASC Scotland’s offices just outside Dunkeld, Perthshire although there is some flexibility as elements of the post holder’s duties may be fulfilled from off-site locations.
