River Dee Trust Autumn Online Auction now live

River Dee Logo + LetteringThere are close to 40 fabulous auction lots available at the River Dee Trust On-Line Auction 2013 which has just gone live. The River Dee Trust would like to thank everyone who very kindly donated an auction lot to help us with our on-going work programmes to improve the River Dee with its dynamic habitat restoration works and community education programmes.

Placing bids To place a bid you need to have registered, which is done through the Live Auction page.

Once registered and logged in you will be able to bid on any of the lots. Simply type in your bid and click ‘bid now’. For your bid to be accepted it must be in full pounds sterling, be a least £1 above the previous bid and if there is a reserve price for the lot, it must equal or exceed the reserve price.

If you place a bid successfully but it does not appear to update on the lot, it is most likely because you have not got the latest internet browser (internet explorer, firefox, google chrome etc), therefore the web page is not automatically refreshed. Refresh the web page (e.g. press F5 key) to see the amended bid.

Close of Auction The auction closes at 5 pm, 30th November and each lot has a countdown to this time. After this time it will not be possible to put in a bid. Note, if you do not have the latest internet browser (internet explorer, firefox, google chrome etc) the automatic countdown does not adjust, therefore you will need to refresh the web page (e.g. hit ‘F5’) to get the current countdown time.

If you do not have the latest internet browser it may appear that a bid can be placed successfully after 5pm 30th November if the countdown is showing time remaining; however, the bid will not be included.

Use of Funds

The proceeds from this auction will go to further our delivery of environmental education, tree planting and further easements of man made barriers to fish migration. Please look around this website, view our most recent annual report or our most recent survey bulletins to find out more about our work.
