Rèasort Estates comprises four exceptional sporting estates across Harris and Lewis, spanning nearly 120,000 acres. Offering red deer stalking, salmon and sea trout fishing and walked-up shooting, each estate combines outstanding opportunities with the dramatic landscapes of the Outer Hebrides.
Rèasort Estates comprises four of Scotland’s finest sporting estates — Amhuinnsuidhe, Morsgail, Uig & Hamanavay — set in the breathtaking landscapes of Harris and Lewis in the Outer Hebrides. Each estate has its own distinctive character, yet all share a spectacular setting bordering beautiful Loch Rèasort. With nearly 120,000 acres across the estates there is sporting opportunity for every need, from salmon & sea trout fishing and red deer stalking to walked-up shooting.
The estates offer dramatic coastlines, rugged hills, hidden lochs, waterfalls and panoramic views provide an ever-changing backdrop, while native wildlife and abundant natural habitats make every stay a chance to reconnect with the landscape.

The Macnab Challenge
The Macnab Challenge is the ultimate Hebridean sporting test: successfully taking a salmon, a stag and a brace of grouse – all between dawn and dusk in a single day. Inspired by John Buchan’s 1925 novel John Macnab, the challenge combines skill, endurance, and a little Hebridean luck, set against the spectacular landscape of Harris. Our resident expert ghillies will guide you every step of the way, sharing their local knowledge and expertise as you take on this demanding and unforgettable challenge.

Rèasort Estates offers a distinctive collection of accommodation across Harris and Lewis, from the elegance of Amhuinnsuidhe Castle to secluded sporting lodges and characterful cottages. Each provides a unique base from which to experience the extraordinary landscapes of the Outer Hebrides.
Amhuinnsuidhe Castle is a spectacular coastal retreat, available for exclusive use for up to 18 guests. Fully staffed and catered, the Castle combines the character of a traditional Scottish sporting house with warm, relaxed hospitality. Its individually designed bedrooms, spacious public rooms and spectacular views across Loch Leosavay create an exceptional setting for families, friends and sporting parties.
For a more independent experience, Morsgail Lodge sits within 14,000 acres of remote Lewis landscape, overlooking Loch Morsgail and the North Harris hills. Sleeping up to 10 guests, it offers a comfortable and secluded base from which to enjoy the estate’s fishing, field sports and surrounding wilderness.
Set in one of the most remote and dramatic corners of Lewis, Hamanavay House is a spacious retreat overlooking the remote sea loch of Loch Tamnabhaigh. Sleeping up to eight guests, the house offers complete privacy and seclusion, surrounded by rugged hills, open wilderness and abundant wildlife.
Each property offers something different, but all provide an opportunity to escape, explore and experience the unique character of Rèasort Estates.
