Glasgow Airport has announced a new weekly route to Munich courtesy of German airliner Lufthansa. Flights will begin on 16 May next year and will run until October 3, with a journey time of almost two hours and fifteen minutes. In the meantime easyJet has also announced further additions to its Scottish network with the launch of flights to Bordeaux from Glasgow Airport. The new summer service, which is expected to carry 9,000 passengers in the first summer of operation, is Glasgow’s first direct connection to Bordeaux and will operate twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays.
