For sports enthusiasts coming to Scotland, you couldn’t have chosen a better place. The whole country offers a top choice of first-class outdoor activities but here in Perthshire, we think you’ll be suitably impressed – even if we are a little biased!
It doesn’t matter whether you’re coming to hunt, fish or play golf – if you’re looking for a great place to stay, come to Coorie Inn. You’ll find it’s a superb choice for some fine Scottish hospitality and it’s so well placed for many of the area’s outdoor pursuits and country sports. As a destination restaurant, we also offer a more intimate setting than a grand scale hotel or resort catering to the masses.
We might not have a full resort of on-site facilities but what we do have is beautiful accommodation and award-winning chefs making delicious food that will be a welcome treat and comfort at the end of a busy, action-packed day.
Coorie Inn was a former 18th Century coaching inn and it’s brimming with character and rustic charm. Guests can enjoy a relaxing, cosy atmosphere – the perfect place to wind down – especially after 18 holes on the golf course, or a long day’s fishing or hunting!
Our typical Scottish weather is unpredictable and there’s every chance you might get soaked and sunburnt all in one day, but don’t worry about coming back to us in wet gear. We can look after all your kit and caboodle. We have a drying room for that purpose, and we also have a police approved gun cabinet on the premises.
We also welcome dogs to Coorie Inn, but please take a look at our pet policy here so you know all the rules about bringing furry friends to stay.
If you love good food – you’ll be happy here. Coorie Inn has recently enjoyed some fantastic press reviews, and our growing, loyal customer base says it all.
Coorie Inn’s menu features the finest seafood and local game, and we also serve a traditional Sunday roast which is popular with couples, families and groups of friends making the most of their weekend with good food in a snug setting.

The bar and lounge area is a lovely spot to chill in too. We stock a wide choice of beers, wines and spirits, and if you’re a whisky lover, you can look forward to sampling our selection of malts. The perfect tipple to savour over some down time or a nice chat by the open fire.
We have six luxuriously appointed rooms at Coorie Inn, and our guests have said the beds are some of the comfiest they’ve ever slept in, and one visitor posted a review on Tripadvisor saying the pillows felt like she was sleeping on a cloud! Stylishly decorated, the rooms are also stocked with Arran Aromatics toiletries, and all have underfloor heating in the shower rooms.
After a refreshing night’s sleep, you can get up to a full Scottish breakfast – we dish up the works here in the morning. The perfect start to the day if you’re back out on the golf course or the grouse moor. You won’t leave here on an empty stomach!

There are five golf courses nearby, as well as falconry, quad biking, 4×4 driving, deer stalking and archery. Just let us know what you need, and we can help you every step of the way.
