Scottish Country Sports Tourism Awards Dinner 2026 Celebrates 2025 Winners at Gleneagles Hotel

The winners of the 2025 Scottish Country Sports Tourism Awards were celebrated in style this week at The Gleneagles Hotel. The evening was dedicated primarily to the winners, providing a special opportunity for them to be recognised among peers, industry colleagues, and supporters of Scotland’s country sports tourism sector.

The luxurious setting of Gleneagles Hotel, guests enjoyed a memorable evening of fine dining and networking, surrounded by the hospitality and atmosphere for which Gleneagles is renowned. The venue allowed the winners to truly feel at the centre of the spotlight, with every detail of the evening highlighting their achievements and contributions to Scotland’s rural tourism and the country sports sector.

Originally announced on Friday 4 July at the BASC stand during the Scottish Game Fair at Scone Palace, this year’s winners represent the very best of Scotland’s rural sporting industry; from estates and agencies to fishing providers, accommodation businesses, and influential voices helping to promote the sector to new audiences.

Together, the winners highlight the strength, innovation, and diversity of Scotland’s country sports tourism offering, and the important role it plays in supporting rural employment, conservation, and community life.

Speaking following the dinner, Kirk Norbury, Project Manager of Country Sport Scotland, said:

“Our winners represent the very highest standards in Scotland’s country sports tourism sector. From long-established estates to modern innovators and inspirational ambassadors, each plays a vital role in keeping rural skills, traditions, and businesses thriving. It was a privilege to celebrate their success together at Gleneagles.”

The success of the evening was also made possible thanks to the generous hospitality of The Gleneagles Shooting and Fishing School. Their beautiful setting and attention to detail created an inviting and celebratory atmosphere, ensuring the winners felt truly honoured and able to enjoy a memorable evening of recognition.

A sincere thank you goes to our headline sponsor, Thorntons Solicitors, for their valued support of the 2025 awards. Their commitment to recognising excellence across Scotland’s rural economy is greatly appreciated.
