Great Glen Charcuterie, Country Sport Scotland Giveaway 2024 Terms and Conditions
- The promoter is the Country Sport Scotland whose registered office is at Croft Cottage, Trochy, Near Dunkeld, Perthshire, PH8 0DY.
- The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over except employees of the Country Sport Scotland and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.
- There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
- By entering this competition, an entrant indicates his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
- The route to entry for the competition and details of how to enter are via our Facebook and Instagram social channels.
- Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.
- Competition opens on the 4th of November to midnight on 10th of November 2024.
- Entries will only be counted after the 11th of November. Before and after these dates, no further entries to the competition will be counted.
- No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
- The rules of the competition can be found on our Instagram & Facebook accounts.
- The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God, or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
- The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
- The prize will be given to one lucky winner. A Wild Venison Charcuterie Hamper provided by Great Glen Charcuterie.
- Winners will be chosen: The winner will be chosen by random software, from all entries received and verified by the promoter and or its agents.
- The winner will be notified by email and/or DM on Instagram/Facebook and/or letter within 28 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
- The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected/delivered. This prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered.
- The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
- The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by Scottish law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Scotland.
- The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

- Rules on how to enter will be provided throughout the duration of The Game Fair, Blenheim Palace. To enter, you must follow the instructions on our QR code and complete the signup form.
- The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God, or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
- The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
- The prize is to be taken within the 2025 season (unless otherwise agreed).
- Winners will be chosen: The winner will be chosen by random software, from all entries received and verified by the promoter and or its agents.
- The winner will be notified by email and/or DM on Twitter/Facebook and/or letter within 28 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
- The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected/delivered. This prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered. The prize does not include transport to and from Gordon Castle.

The prize is as follows:
- 3-night stay in Quarry Gardens Lodge, on Gordon Castle Estate.
- 2 days fishing on Gordon Castle / Brae water beats in Fochabers, Moray, Speyside.
- Prize to be taken between 11th Feb – 30th April 2025.
- Additional nights and fishing can be purchased upon request.
- Prize includes the use of a ghillie/guide and rod/equipment if required.
The Scottish Country Sports Tourism Awards 2024 Terms and Conditions
- The Scottish Country Sports Tourism Awards are open to residents and owners of businesses based within the UK and globally, but the nomination business MUST be based within Scotland to be counted, whether or not they are a member of Country Sport Scotland (CSS), aged 18 years or older, and excluding members of staff for CSS.
- Country Sport Scotland reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants and check their identity.
- All complete entries for the 2024 awards must be received by 23:59 on Friday 31st May 2024. Any entries received after this date and time will only be considered at the discretion of CSS.
- Finalists will be contacted by mid-June 2024. Should CSS be unable to contact finalists within 5 business days of notification or should finalists be unable or no longer wish to participate, CSS reserves the right to award a place in the final to an alternative entrant, decided upon feedback from the CSS Scottish Tourism Awards independent judging panel. CSS will not be liable for any failure, delay or inability to contact finalists.
- The prize (trophy and certificate) for winners must be taken as promoted, and no alternative will be offered.
- All entrants must complete our entry forms in full, either on behalf of themselves or their own business or to nominate others. You must provide the full name and contact email details of your nominee. By submitting an entry, you agree that information from your entry (including text, photos and names of people/businesses) can be stored and reused for all promotional purposes for the current awards and in future to showcase good practice.
- Winners will be announced at our awards ceremony at the GWCT Scottish Game Fair on the Scottish Land & Estates stand on Saturday morning. Finalists will be contacted ahead of this taking place.
- Events may occur that render the selection of finalists, the selection of winners and the award ceremony altered due to reasons beyond the control of CSS and accordingly CSS may at its absolute discretion vary or amend the Awards programme and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attach to CSS as a result thereof.
- The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant resulting from entering the awards or by the entrant’s acceptance of the prize (trophy and certificate).
- This promotion is governed by the laws of Scotland.
