Scottish Fly Fishing Film – Once in Your Lifetime
On 29 May this year I spent a wonderful sunny afternoon on the banks of the River Ness. I was there to meet the cast and crew of a film being made about Fly fishing in Scotland. Wes Parke and his partner Ros appeared to have everything under control, wonderful food, helicopters arriving and cameras fitted to drones flying a few inches above the surface of the river. This was day one of filming ‘Once in Your Lifetime’. The summer has now passed and Wes and Ros are finalising the edits of the film and a trailer has been issued – I thought the results would be good given the professionalism shown on day one but if the trailer is an indication of the final work, it will be truly amazing. Watch the trailer here and see the film in its entirety at the Inverness Film Festival in November. It is too long to wait!
