"We booked the full Forrest Estate Experience as part of a Stag Do for my future son-in-law (deer stalking, rifle target shooting, clay pigeon and crossbow shooting and trout/fly fishing). I can't speak to highly of the professional service that we received from Andrew Case and his team. None of us has had any prior experience of field sports and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Nothing was too much trouble and the whole visit was extremely educational. Many thanks to Andrew and Maitland and to the Staff of the Ken Bridge Hotel"

"My husband and I spent a day shooting clays prior to pheasant hunting. Forrest Estate is the most fabulous shooting range that I have ever seen. It is a wonderful experience for novice or pro. There is a beautiful course for youth to experience a variety of shooting challenges as well. And it is so important for youth to explore the outdoors and have a wonderful shooting experience. Andrew and crew have obviously spent many hours thoughtfully and carefully planning this range. It is beautiful, clean and well-kept and the views are remarkable. Our day of instruction was well organised and tailored to our needs. I was nervous at first, but the instructors were patient and it became fun immediately. Safety and etiquette were stressed. Andrew and his crew worked with us our group, patiently and individually, until we felt comfortable, and successful. I hope anyone reading this will take the opportunity to experience this wonderful and unique shooting range!"

"........AMAZING & UNFORGETTABLE…….our recent visit to the Forest Estate Experience, for my son’s “stag weekend”, was a notable experience of my life. I have had previous experience on driven and clay shoots and really enjoyed those aspects of the weekend along with our time spent on your well thought-out rifle range but the climax for me was catching my first fish ever, a memory that will be with me forever. I now understand why thousands spend hours with a “stick” by the side of water waiting for that bite. What made the experience even better was the company, your enthusiasm for the sport, your ability to pass on the skills needed to land that fly in the “right place” and the stunning surroundings……what a perfect place to free your mind from the chaos that is modern life……..WE WILL BE BACK…….”

"Fantastic Afternoon... Wonderful fun for everyone including the inexperienced!!

My fiancé John and I recently visited the United Kingdom from Australia for the Olympic Games. Following on from our time in London we visited Forrest Estate to try Clay Pigeon Shooting. I had never held or shot a gun before and I was extremely nervous. Andrew was a wonderful guide and gave detailed helpful instructions on how to handle the gun and what etiquette is expected when you are visiting a shooting ground. His knowledge and friendliness made it a warm and welcome experience.

I didn’t think I would hit any of the clays and told Andrew I would be happy if I just hit one. At the end of our afternoon I had shot 18 clays; a small number but one that I am proud of and a number I wouldn’t have achieved without Andrew’s advice and encouragement. This experience has given me a taste for Clay Pigeon Shooting and I will be looking for a shooting ground in Australia that hopefully offers the same experience and if we visit Scotland again Forrest Estate will definitely be on our itinerary.

John and I wished we had have known about Forrest Estate earlier as we could have easily spent 3 or 4 days on the estate learning from Andrew and experiencing this beautiful part of the world.

Thank you again Andrew and Forrest Estate for truly great afternoon".
