Sporting Lodge Retreat in Dunkeld

Following the extensive renovation and alterations, Tay House accommodation now enjoys a luxurious finish that will ensure you and your guests have a relaxing experience in the heart of one of Scotland’s most beautiful villages. The perfect place to be after a day in the field or on the river.

After a day in the field, guests can enjoy the lounge, bar (both with open fires), and dining room before relaxing in one of the eight newly refurbished en-suite bedrooms; there are also three apartments.

  • Dining room.
  • Lounge area and bar indoors.
  • Decking by the river Tay for drinks.
  • Parking for 8 vehicles.
  • Gunroom with shower/bathroom facilities.
  • Drying room.
  • Dogs are welcome to stay in the gun room.
  • Guests can enjoy partridge and pheasant shooting during the season or alternatively try their hand at a simulated clay day.
  • Tay House is fortunate to have an affiliation with Burnmouth Salmon Fishings on the Lower Tay by Stanley (10-15 mins drive). As a result, last-minute fishing can often be organised and equipment supplied.
